Type of fishing spot: Extreme deep water point with a bay to the left and small bay with gulleys on the right.

Brief Description: - Shad, Garrick, Blacktails, Kingies and Brusher are a few of the species that can be caught here. It is also a hot spot for anglers targeting in-edibles. Scottburgh is a must-stop spot for the sardine run.

Directions: From Durban travel south on the N2. Take the Scottburgh offramp. At the offramp turn left and continue to the T-junction at the R102. Turn right at this stop street and continue south on the R102.Take the 1st turn left after crossing the bridge. Take your 1st left after the shell garage. At the stop street turn left and continue until you reach your destination.

Special Notes:
i) This area is a well known holiday destination and can be quite crowded as times.
ii) Ample tackle shops are available to top up on tackle.
iii) The family can also tag along as there are many activities, including a tidal pool, Super-tube and mini-golf, to keep them occupied.
iv) Toilet facilities are available
